Do you qualify to be a Junior Coach for Football or Cheer? 

1) Junior Coaches are 7th-12 grade students.

2) 7th & 8th grade students are able to coach teams In 5U and 7U; However, exceptions to this can be made by the ACAO BOARD.  

3) 9th-12th grade students can coach teams in 5U, 7U, 9U, and 11U.

4) This is a volunteer position.  Most school organizations like National Honor Society will allow you to log your volunteer hours. (check with your various organizations to confirm)

5) If you are a former ACAO football player or cheerleader, volunteering as a Junior Coach allows you the opportunity to apply for the Belinda Kirkland Scholarship your SENIOR YEAR.   NOTE: the more years you have with the organization the better it looks on the application.  :) 

NOTE: Junior Coach Registrations are FREE.  Cheerleader Junior Coaches will receive a Pink Out shirt with their teams.
